Ok, so it appears that the ultrasound two weeks ago was not conclusive. Today we heard, "you are having a boy". I am more sure today that they are correct (you wouldn't think you could call it a boy by accident). We'll be sure to pick out two names by February!

I don't think Elizabeth will sound very good for a boy, but I will let you use my middle name, Edwards. You could take the "s" off and name him _____ Edward Carlson. Sounds good and I know you are just dying to name this child after me. Good thing I have a girl and a boy name to use.

Eric Carlson has a nice ring to it. Plus, that way, he'll have a better chance of playing ping-pong like me rather than like his daddy.
